Chen Yeming
Chen Yeming, originally named Chunsheng, styled Yeming, and known by the art name Jiangpan Laonongfu. Born in 1946, from a scholarly family, Senior Artisan of Fine Arts.
Since childhood, he has been passionate about painting and calligraphy, fond of literature, and reciting poetry and classics from various schools. He devoted himself to studying painting, taking nature as his teacher, and ultimately attained inner inspiration. He inherited traditional techniques while also incorporating innovation. Starting from life sketching, he emphasized both resemblance in form and spirit. His works reflect the harmony of poetry within painting and painting within poetry, and stress the expression of the subject's essence. He emphasizes vibrant qi and rhythm, infused with a strong sense of daily life, evoking rich imagination and bringing deeper pleasure. He has studied oil painting, traditional Chinese painting, as well as figures, landscapes, and bird-and-flower subjects. His works have received widespread acclaim from society and the art community.
