Zhang Lianyu is a member of the Chinese Poetry Society and guest lecturer for the Poetry Micro-course organized by the Women's Poetry Committee of the Chinese Poetry Society. She serves as Executive President of the Central China Research Institute of Yecao Poetry Society under the Chinese Couplets Society, Standing Director of the Hubei Provincial Couplets Society, Standing Director and Deputy Secretary-General of the Jingzhou City Poetry and Couplets Association,特邀 Editor of the city’s journal Poetry and Couplet, Vice President of Jiangdu Poetry and Couplet Society at the Municipal Senior University (also serving as poetry salon course instructor). She is also Vice President of Shashi Poetry and Couplets Association, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tianwen Poetry Journal, Honorary President of Yijianmei Academy of Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting under the Chinese Poetry Association, Vice President of Jiuzhou Nanjing Literature Society, and Executive Vice President of Hanbei Poetry Society.
Her works have been published in over a thousand books and periodicals at municipal, provincial, and national levels. More than ten of her poems and couplets have been selected and engraved on entrance pillars in communities such as Hongyuan, Binjiang, Yuexi, and Guanju, as well as in various towns and villages. She has won the Outstanding Work Award from the Chinese Poetry Society, first prize in the “Poets Ascending the Yellow Crane Tower in Spring” national literary contest, and has been honored as one of China's Top 100 Contemporary Poets and an Outstanding Poet of World Chinese Poetry, winning the World New Poetry Masterpiece Award.
She received second prize in the national couplet competition for Huanghelou Distillery’s gate pillars, second prize in the 28th National Spring Festival Couplets Competition, and second prize in literary evaluations hosted by Xinhua News Agency and Dadi Monthly (People's Daily) for her new-style poetry. She has twice been awarded the title of Advanced Worker by the Hubei Provincial Couplets Society and was recognized as an outstanding student by the Women's Poetry Committee of the Chinese Poetry Society. She has received multiple honors including Advanced Worker and Outstanding Communist Party Member within her organization, Outstanding Class Monitor of the Electronic Keyboard Class at the Senior University, and Outstanding Correspondent for Senior Education. She also won the Outstanding Award (Top 20) in the 42nd National Online Popularity Poet Contest. Her works have been included in more than a thousand publications such as Changbai Mountain Poetry Journal, Poetry Journal (Biweekly), Chinese Poetry, Chinese Poetry Yearbook, Hubei Poetry, Jingchu Couplets, Oriental Son, Poets’ Calendar, World Chinese Poetry Yearbook, Global Poetry Voice, World Famous Figures Directory, and World Personalities Sea of Biographies.
Due to her entry in the鹳雀楼 (Guanshuelou) literary contest, she was interviewed and recorded by Shanxi Television. Throughout her career, her new poetry, classical poetry, and couplets have won over thirty awards at provincial, national, and international levels.
