Wang Houpu

Personal Profile

Wang Houpu, pen name Xuzhu, master of Meijian Studio, member of the Communist Party of China, retired cadre, native of Xiantao, began studying calligraphy with a brush at the age of seven in a private school. He studied for three years at the Correspondence School of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, benefiting from diverse masters. Currently a member of the Hubei Calligraphers Association, member of the Hong Kong Poetry Society, and third-generation inheritor of the Qi School.
