Painter Li Jianhui, styled Xuzhi, with studio names Songju Studio and Jishan Studio. Born in 1969 in Laoshan, Donghai. In 2008, specially invited painter of the Beijing Xu Beihong Academy of Fine Arts, Vice Secretary-General of the Laoshan Artists Association, graduated from the Advanced Research Class on Chinese Painting Theory and Creation at Renmin University of China, where he studied under renowned landscape masters Zhang Fuxing, Cheng Zhenguo, Du Ping, Shan Mingbo, Sun Xuerun, Feng Jucheng, He Yanchao, Dong Zhenhuai, and others. Skilled in Chinese painting landscapes, figures, flowers and birds, and animals. Artistically inspired by the Four Monks of the Qing Dynasty—Shitao, Shixi, Bada Shanren, and Jianjiang—and influenced by modern masters such as Huang Binhong, Qi Baishi, Ku Chan, and Zhang Peng. Has traveled extensively for sketching trips to Mount Huang, the Taihang Mountains, Laoshan, and other famous mountains and rivers, absorbing the beauty of nature and expressing it through brush and ink, producing a large body of work.
