Liao Genghong, from Nan Kang, Jiangxi, holds a university degree and is a National First-Class Artist. He is a member of the Shenzhen Artists Association, Deputy Secretary-General of the Calligraphy and Painting Masters Alliance of the Regional Expo Channel on CCTV, a member of the Hong Kong Artists Association, and a painter at the Luohu Academy of Painting. He specializes in traditional Chinese flower-and-bird painting, and has also explored landscape and figure painting. His works are original in conception, profound and solemn, gradually forming a distinct personal artistic style. Institutions have rated him as one of the "Top 100 Chinese Painters with Investment and Collection Appreciation Potential."
From childhood, he inherited family traditions and systematically studied calligraphy and painting. He has extensively explored Chinese ink painting, sketching, gouache, oil painting, as well as the works of renowned masters. In his early years, he began learning traditional Chinese painting through the "Jieziyuan Painting Manual." He admires the expressive style of Ba Da Shan Ren, blending strength and gentleness, emptiness and substance, and creates based on the artistic principle of "learning from nature while drawing from the heart." He places great emphasis on overall composition and the momentum of ink tones, stressing perception and comprehension of subjects. With vigorous, naive, and rhythmically dynamic lines, he portrays a rich variety of worldly forms. His paintings often incorporate poetry, seamlessly blending poetic charm with visual imagery. His works exhibit fresh brushwork, unique style, and profound depth, embodying the beauty of poetic and pictorial harmony.
