Personal Profile

Engineer Yu, Yu Jinggan——A Chinese from Jiangxi, holding a Ph.D. in Philosophy. Painter, architect, designer, and entrepreneur. Cultural researcher at Beijing University, Academician and Vice President of the United Nations Academy of Ecological and Life Safety, specially appointed professor at multiple universities at home and abroad, organizer and president of Jiangxi Academy of Fine Arts. In the 2009 Second Annual Figures Selection by Art Newspaper, he shared the award stage with Mr. Wu Guanzhong and was named one of the six individuals "most influential in China's art and design community." He is the first recipient of the Design Master Medal in China. Chairman of the Art Decoration Committee, China Chamber of Commerce for Furniture and Decoration Industry, China General Chamber of Commerce.
