Fu Chunlin

Fu Chunlin's work "The Harmony Between China and Myanmar" was collected by Aung San Suu Kyi; In 2017, at the invitation of the American Artists Association and the American International Exchange Group (AIE), Fu participated in the 2017 "American International Art Expo" and won the Gold Medal for Classical Art. 32. In 2018, the work "Loyalty and Righteousness, Blessing and Martial Virtue" won the Gold Medal at the 19th "Tokyo International Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition"; the work was highly praised by Japanese calligraphy and painting masters as a "once-in-a-millennium masterpiece," and Fu Chunlin was subsequently interviewed by Japan's NHK Television. 33. In 2018, invited by the University of California, Los Angeles (the world's top-ranked art university), Fu traveled to California to study and research classical and modern art; his mentors at the academy highly praised him and awarded him the title of Visiting Scholar. 34. In 2018, invited by the London Art Fair, Fu participated in the London Art Fair, where Chinese cultural enthusiasts gave exceptional praise to Fu Chunlin’s works. 35. In 2019, Fu participated in the World Confucius Conference and created a portrait of Confucius, which was highly acclaimed by Chairman Tang Enjia, who said, "It is the best portrait of Confucius I have ever seen." 36. In September 2019, at the invitation of the Indonesian government, Fu attended the World Confucianism Conference and delivered the keynote speech, making a positive contribution to the promotion of traditional culture! 37. In 2020, at the invitation of the Japanese government, the Fu Chunlin Art Museum in Japan was established. 38. In 2021, Fu was awarded the title of "National Advanced Individual in Poverty Alleviation." 39. In 2022, Fu was honored with the title of "Model of the Times in the Art World" (awarded by the People's Daily, China Artists Association, China Calligraphers Association, and other organizations). 40. In November 2022, Fu Chunlin's eighteen Arhat scroll set a Guinness World Record. 41. In 2023, Fu was specially appointed as an Art Consultant by CCTV's "Art Masters" program. 42. In 2023, Fu once again won the Louvre’s highest honor—the Excellence Award. 43. Fu was appointed as an Art Expert Consultant by the China Association for the Promotion of Traditional Culture, Ministry of Culture and Tourism. 44. On November 15, 2023, Fu was appointed by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles as an Advisor to the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Center for Calligraphy and Painting Arts. 45. On March 6, 2024, the People's Daily Online reported that Fu Chunlin’s artwork was auctioned at Sotheby’s for RMB 15 million; on March 31, 2024, the People's Daily reported again that his work was auctioned for RMB 16.5 million in Hong Kong and RMB 35 million at Sotheby’s. 46. In May 2024, Fu was appointed as a Visiting Professor by Tsinghua University. 47. In January 2025, the University of Colorado awarded Fu an Honorary Doctorate, signed by the U.S. Secretary of State, stamped by the government court, and signed by a judge. 48. On May 27, 2025, Fu won the 2025 Hans Christian Andersen (International) Art Gold Award. 49. In July 2025, relevant state authorities officially issued documents recognizing Fu Chunlin as a Representative Inheritor of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Project (Traditional Fine Arts Category). 50. In July 2025, Fu was awarded the Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE), and attended the investiture ceremony in the United Kingdom from August 27 to 30, 2025. This honor is among the highest ranks in the British honours system.
