Personal Profile
 Zhang Jianhua, styled Boshi, is a member of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang. He is a delegate to the 10th National Congress of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and a member of the 14th Nanchang Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Born in 1967, he graduated from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Jiangxi University in 1989. He studied calligraphy and seal carving under masters Xu Yinong and Li Gangtian.
        He is currently a member of the China Calligraphers Association, Vice Chairman of the Jiangxi Provincial Calligraphers Association, Deputy Director of the Jiangxi Zhongshan Painting and Calligraphy Academy, Vice Chairman of the Nanchang City Calligraphers Association, Director of the Nanchang Calligraphy Academy, one of Nanchang’s first batch of Masters of Traditional Skills, Guest Professor at the School of Arts, East China Jiaotong University, and Guest Professor at the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, Nanchang University. He has been awarded the title of “Advanced Individual” by the China Calligraphers Association for the “Calligraphy into Ten Thousand Homes” campaign and the title of “Outstanding Cultural Volunteer” by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles for the “Go to the People” initiative.
        He has published several collections including Chinese Seal Carving Masters: Zhang Jianhua Volume, Seal Impressions of Boshi, Seal Art Celebrities: Zhang Jianhua, Jiangxi Province Middle-aged and Young Calligraphers Archive: Zhang Jianhua, and Selected Seal Carvings by Zhang Jianhua. His essay “Inheriting the Past to Illuminate the Future” was selected for inclusion in Thirty Years of Calligraphy — Contemporary Calligraphy Art Shenzhen Forum and compiled into the accompanying publication.
