Zhu Rimann
Zhu Rimann, also known as Liman, pseudonym Zhu Man, was born in 1966 in Yuguang, Jiangxi Province, and is the master of Shannu Painting Studio. He graduated from the Shanghai Institute of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting in 1998. He further studied at the Advanced Research Class on Flower-and-Bird Painting, China Artists Association, and the China Academy of Art. His works have been exhibited in the 6th, 8th, 9th, and 10th National Invitational Exhibitions of Famous Flower-and-Bird Painters, among others. He has undertaken special projects including "Compendium of Materia Medica — Series of Xieyi Flower-and-Bird Paintings by Zhu Rimann" and "Zhu Rimann — Special Exhibition of Anti-Epidemic Cartoons," and has held multiple solo exhibitions. He is currently a specially invited painter at the Training and Creation Center of the China Artists Association, Director of the Wenzhou Office of the Calligraphy and Painting Research Department of the China Academy of Art, and Art Director of the Wenzhou Alliance of Migrant Calligraphers and Painters. He is professionally engaged in academic research and creation of Chinese flower-and-bird painting.
