Liu Gang’s landscape paintings possess a distinctive style, pursuing a "realm" that evolves from emotion to spiritual character. His landscapes emphasize "learning from nature," aiming to create artistic realms, ascending to transcendent realms, and advancing toward deeper aesthetic dimensions: First, he draws close to nature, returns to nature, and unites with the natural world, achieving a state where subjective and objective realities evolve harmoniously with time, remaining ever fresh—this is what he calls "novelty." Second, through subtle and gradual transformation, he immerses himself in profound realms of authenticity, spirituality, and wonder, refining his temperament and purifying his soul, thereby elevating his spiritual境界. His works have been published in numerous newspapers and collections, including Art Newspaper, China Calligraphy and Painting Newspaper, China Art Market Newspaper, Shenzhou Poetry and Painting Newspaper, Outstanding Works Collection of Teachers and Students from the China National Academy of Painting, Oriental Ink, Masters of Chinese Painting, and Brand Culture. Many of his large-scale pieces have been collected by museums, galleries, and private collectors both domestically and internationally.
