Personal Profile

Ning Juping, born in 1982 in Liuyang, Changsha, Hunan,studied at the Art Department of Guilin Normal University in 2007, and from 2009 to 2011 apprenticed under the accomplished painter Lu Yongsheng, specializing in landscape painting. He has since continuously innovated on the foundation of tradition, developing his unique style; his works are best-selling across the country and have been exhibited multiple times, as well as participated in brush meetings. Currently a contracted artist at Wutong Painting and Yunshengzhai Painting Studio. In 2008, "Great Wall's Mighty Wind" received an Honorable Mention at the Olympic Fine Arts Exhibition. In 2014, "One Sail with Favorable Winds" won the Third Prize at the Municipal Youth Art Exhibition. In 2018, "Elegant Residence" received the Third Prize at the Mountainside Invitation Art Exhibition.
