Huang Zhijian, pen name Huang Mozhan, Huang Zhijian; born in 1971 in Guilin, Guangxi, with ancestral roots in Quanzhou, he studied Chinese painting in Beijing under Shi Qi and Li Xiaoke, and is particularly devoted to Chinese art masters such as Huang Binhong, Lu Yanshao, Li Keran, Fu Baoshi, and Pan Tianshou, as well as Western artists including Van Gogh, Gauguin, Cézanne, Picasso, and Klimt.
Currently: Painter at the Shi Qi Painting Academy in Beijing, Painter at Li Xiaoke’s Studio of the Rongbaozhai Painting Academy in Beijing, Member of the Beijing Qi Baishi Art Research Association, Member of the Ink and Wash Painting Academy of the "Shuimo Danqing" Column Group, China Education Television, Member of the China Association for the Promotion of Ethnic Minority Fine Arts (directly under the Ministry of Culture).
