Ban Kaiwen (original name: Ban Huimin), from Guangxi. Since childhood, she has studied painting under the artistic guidance of her father and later became a student of the renowned calligrapher and painter, Master Li Meishan. She specializes in meticulous-style flower-and-bird painting, figures, and landscapes. Building upon the essence of traditional techniques, she infuses her art with innovative richness, making the subjects more prominent, enhancing spatial layers and depth, intensifying visual effects, broadening the artistic conception, and adding greater dynamism and subtle emotional resonance with nature. She has uniquely pioneered an art form that blends meticulous brushwork with ink splashing and color pouring. Her works are vivid and expressive, executed with exceptional skill and perfected to an extraordinary degree, forming a distinctive personal style. Her artworks have frequently been exhibited in newspapers, magazines, and various media outlets. In 2005, her work was selected for the "Guangxi Chinese Painting Masterpieces Exhibition"; in 2006, it was included in the "Taiwan Cross-Strait Painters Masterpieces Exhibition"; in 2007, it was featured in the "Hong Kong Calligraphy and Painting Masterpieces Exhibition." After rigorous evaluation and research by the China Professional Talent Database Management Center, she was awarded the title of World-Famous Artist. She is a contracted artist for the World Renowned Calligraphers and Painters Art Club Auction and a contracted artist for World Future Art Garden (China Region). Beijing Sanhe Academy of Painting contracted painter. She serves as Secretary-General of the Sino-Foreign Masters Academy of Calligraphy and Painting and as a Council Member of the Guangxi Provincial Meticulous Painting Association. Currently residing in Beijing, her works are highly admired and collected by collectors both domestically and internationally.
