Personal Profile
Tang Jun was born in April 1981 in Yangshuo, Guilin, Guangxi, a renowned hometown of painting and calligraphy. In 2000, he studied at the Fine Arts Department of Guilin Normal College. In 2003, he became a disciple of accomplished painters Huang Renfei and Li Linhong, specializing in landscape painting. In 2012, he sought guidance from painter Qiao Jianye of Xi'an Painting Garden. To date, he has continuously innovated within traditional techniques, developing his own distinctive style. His works are widely popular across the country and have been featured in numerous brush meetings and art exhibitions.
In 2008, "Ten Thousand Li of Pine Breeze" won the Third Prize at the Municipal Art Exhibition Celebrating the Olympics.
In 2013, "Mist and Clouds over Mount Tai" won the Third Prize at the National Biennial Exhibition.
In 2018, "Rural Melody and Elegant Residence" won the Second Prize at the "Countryside Invitation" Art Exhibition.
