Fan Gong, born in 1969, is originally from Xiangcheng, Henan Province, a member of the Communist Party of China, and a painter and calligrapher of the China Academy of Painting. Since childhood, he has been passionate about calligraphy art. In 1992, he graduated from the Advanced Research and Teaching Class of the Calligraphy Training Center of the Chinese Calligraphers Association. For decades, he has diligently studied and practiced without ceasing. In his artistic creation, he not only emphasizes the connotation and spirit of his works but also focuses on cultivating personal virtue, placing filial piety first and striving to be a virtuous person. His calligraphy is steady and bold, powerful and substantial, yet retains elegance and vitality—swift like a gale and storm, gentle like a small bridge over flowing water. He learns from ancient masters without being bound by tradition, innovates with original intent, and has developed his own unique style.
