Personal Profile

Liu Shihui, pen name Yihui. A military art and calligraphy worker, a calligraphy and Chinese painting teacher at the military club. 1994-1996 studied interior and exterior decoration and advertising design at Beijing Normal University and Hong Kong Institute of Education. Participated in the oil painting seminar of Guangzhou Academy of Art in 2011-2012. Member of the Provincial Calligraphy Association and the Art Association. Early award-winning works include, "The Affection between Soldiers and Civilians", "The Sailor Brother", "The Sentiment of the Sea", "Morning at the Military Port" and so on. Recent works include, "The Village of the Earth", "The Skin of the Earth", "The Height of Shenzhen" and so on. Comments from fellow artists: Appreciating the paintings and calligraphy of Teacher Yihui, he has a character like a soldier, bold, fearless, decisive, and resolute. Observing Teacher Yihui's freehand landscapes, the casual brushstrokes add many more spirits, stimulating your imagination greatly.
