Liao Shanshin, born in 1977 in Meilin Town, Wuhua County, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province. Guangdong Province. He has loved painting since childhood, influenced by his uncle Mr. Liao Zimei, and began to study painting at the age of 7.In 1993, he entered Wuhua Art School, studying under Principal Liao Zimei, an art educator, majoring in oil painting with additional studies in calligraphy and literature.In 1997, he was admitted to Lingnan Art College, studying under Professor Zhou Da Ji and art educator Mr. Tan Dawei, focusing on oil painting.He admires the academic school's rigorous and delicate lighting modeling, as well as the romantic colors of Impressionism. He is not confined to detailed and complete figure depiction, but pursues highly refined brushwork integrated with freehand style, giving a lively and flexible, elegant and unrestrained impression.Works such as "The Veteran" and "Art Teacher" in the series of portrait paintings combine objective depiction with subjective consciousness.
