Shao Peng Ma (pseudonym Ma Peng), born in 1961 in Shantou, Guangdong. He was a disciple of the famous Chinese traditional culture figure Mr. Yang Zhaozhan. He is currently a member of the Shantou Artists Association, a member of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Research Association, and a senior art master of the China Art Academy. Influenced by the older generation of artists and his father who had devoted his life to art education since childhood, he has been devoted to the pursuit and continuous exploration of Chinese traditional culture and art. He has extensively studied murals, Chinese paintings, and calligraphy, and is deeply fond of them. In the early days of the reform and opening up, he was the main painter for the creation of the Chinese "Four Great Classical Novels" comic series at the Xili Lake Hotel in Shenzhen, which was praised as the "Number One Art Gallery in the World" by both domestic and foreign audiences, and received high praise from national leaders who visited Shenzhen. He has a particular passion for painting shrimp, with exquisite and skillful techniques, and his works are collected and appreciated by many famous entrepreneurs. In 2015, his work was selected for the "Hundred Excellent Chinese Painters" collection. In 2016, he won an award in the national "Xikou Cup" Calligraphy, Painting and Seal Creation Competition, and his work was published in the competition's fine collection. In 2016, his work was selected for the Second Gurao Spring Festival Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition. In 2017, he won the gold prize in the National Calligraphy and Painting Masters International Exchange Exhibition.
