He Zhiqiang Guangdong Dapu native born in Shantou, Guangdong in 1961 graduated from the Department of Chinese Painting, Guangxi Academy of Arts in 1986, under the guidance of renowned painters Huang Gesheng Zheng Junli Chen Yupu . In 2015, he completed the Advanced Research Class at the Lijiang Painting School, under the guidance of renowned painter Huang Gesheng. His works have been selected for national and provincial art exhibitions, and his work "Mountain Feelings" won the gold prize in the "First Guangxi International Folk Song Festival Ethnic Customs Art Exhibition". "The Ballad of the Mountain Village" was selected for the Third National Sports Art Exhibition and won the first prize at the regional exhibition. "Summer Words in the Mountains" was selected for the Third Western Land Feeling Art Exhibition and won the third prize at the regional exhibition. "Autumn Words in the Mountains" and "Looking Back at Siluo River" were respectively selected for the 50th anniversary regional celebration and the 60th anniversary of the founding of the country regional art exhibition, and won the third and second prizes respectively. He is currently a member of the Guangxi Artists Association, an executive council member of the Guangxi Chinese Painting Society, former vice chairman of the Wuzhou Artists Association, first director of the Wuzhou Art Museum, third president (legal representative) of the Wuzhou Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and director of the Chen Yupu Art Research Institute.
