Personal Profile

Shi Jie (Shi Ziyan), born in Gansu Zhangye. He studied under Mr. Zhang Gaiqin, renowned calligrapher, Advisor of the China Calligraphers Association and Honorary Chairman of the Gansu Calligraphers Association, and was taught by Mr. Zeng Lai德, Vice President of the National Art Academy, and Mr. Li Guosheng, Professor at the Training Center of the China Calligraphers Association. He has loved calligraphy since childhood, influenced by his ancestors, and has persisted in his practice. Over the years, he has learned from ancient masters and drawn inspiration from nature, dedicating himself to running and cursive script, exploring steles and rubbings while seeking new artistic expressions.
