LiJun, male, born in October 1972, Han ethnicity, pen name Chen Guang, from Gansu Province's Jingning County.

Since childhood, he has been deeply passionate about calligraphy and has extensively studied and imitated classic models, making character practice and copying masterpieces his daily routine. Drawing inspiration from antiquity while innovating, he diligently studied Ouyang Xun’s regular script, Wang Xizhi’s Shengjiao Sequence, Sun Guoting’s Shupu, as well as the Cao Quan Stele for clerical script and Deng Shiru’s seal script. His characters exhibit an ancient, simple, and rustic elegance, skillfully blending simplicity with ingenuity. His brushstrokes are rugged and mature, thick lines robust and steady, while thin lines display remarkable strength and resilience. He integrates diverse styles, strives to forge a unique personal style, and pursues perfection, earning high praise from peers.

His calligraphy works have been rated Level Nine (the highest being Level Ten) by the National Calligraphy and Painting Rating Committee, and he has been certified as a “Chinese Calligrapher and Painter” by the China Academy of Calligraphy and Painting Qualification Evaluation Committee.

In June 2018, he was reviewed and officially registered into the China Cultural Arts Talent Database by the China Cultural Arts Talent Management Center.
