Personal Profile

Chen Guangzai, courtesy name Zimo, male, Han ethnicity, was born in 1963 in Fujian Province, Fuan City. He graduated from the Journalism Department of Nanjing Political College in 1986. During his military service, he long engaged in news and fine arts creation, possessing profound foundations in calligraphy and painting, primarily skilled in landscapes and bird-and-flower subjects. His artworks draw inspiration from natural scenery, emphasizing realistic depiction while learning from ancient masters without being bound by tradition. His works have been exhibited multiple times in both military and local art exhibitions, with over 20 award-winning pieces, earning favor and collection by art enthusiasts. He is currently a specially invited painter and senior artist of the Zhongyi Yanjing Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, and vice president of the Fujian Yuanzhi Education Academy of Calligraphy and Painting. His painting style is elegant, solemn, and rich in national, contemporary, and historical sensibilities, achieving unity of ideological, artistic, and aesthetic values, and exerting strong social influence.
