Personal Profile

Huang Cunguang, born in 1958, is from Hua County, Henan Province. He has loved art since childhood, especially devoted to the art of Chinese bird-and-flower painting. Throughout his life,he has consistently studied, researched, and practiced Wang Xuetao's bird-and-flower painting techniques, expressing and presenting them within contemporary cultural contexts, with profound feeling.His artworks have been exhibited numerous times in provincial, municipal, and out-of-area exhibitions, receiving awards or being collected. Currently, he is a researcher at the China Northeast Snow Painting Art Research Institute. He is also a painter at the Jixi Branch of Heilongjiang Provincial Min Ge Painting Academy.
