Fa Chan: A native of Zhengding Prefecture in Hebei Province, member of the Hebei Artists Association, member of the Hebei Calligraphers Association, academic council member of the China Buddhist Artists Association, member of the Chinese Couplet Society, art editor of the magazine "Buddhism and Art," scholar of Zen studies, and artistic advisor to the Linyi City Collectors Association. Proficient in meticulous polychrome painting, freehand brushwork, calligraphy, and seal carving, his works have been exhibited in numerous national art exhibitions. Roaming between Zen, art, and life, he embraces the sentiment: "A smile blooms only when the ancient Buddha holds up a flower; a dreamer's words have already spanned three lifetimes." With music ever accompanying, peace and harmony prevail as he explores Zen insights through the unity of Zen and art. His Zen-inspired art conveys natural serenity and gentle expression, blending diverse styles into one harmonious whole—evoking cool tranquility and the beauty of wabi-sabi.
