Chen Sibin: Famous calligrapher, experienced media professional, calligraphy consultant of the EMBA Cloud Business School of Peking University Zongheng, Chief Cultural Consultant of the China Women's Innovation Academy, Excellent Chinese Artists between China and the United States, Calligrapher with Influential Power of China's Good Brands, Chief Cultural Consultant of the Chongqing Chen Clan Association, and a signed calligrapher of the China Collection Guide Network.
Chen Sibin was born in January 1954 in Rongchang District of Chongqing City, into a family of scholars. His parents were intellectuals from the old society. His father once served as an administrator and editor of the Chengdu underground party newspaper, and his mother was a refined lady from the Pan family. The Chen family has produced many literati throughout history. From the age of four, Chen Sibin diligently practiced calligraphy under the guidance of his elders in the family, diligently studying various styles such as seal script, Han dynasty cursive script, Jin dynasty's Wang brothers, Tang dynasty regular script, and Northern Song dynasty Huang Tingjian's calligraphy. The family tradition of the Chen family and the rich cultural atmosphere deeply influenced Chen Sibin's childhood, and also fixed the future path of Chen Sibin's life. After high school, Chen Sibin sold his calligraphy on the street, organized the county's publicity team, told Sichuan storytelling, and worked as a high school Chinese teacher at his alma mater. Later he was admitted to university for Chinese studies, and after graduation, he taught, wrote books, and practiced calligraphy diligently. When Chen Sibin's educational career was at its peak, he decided to switch to journalism. With a career spanning several decades, Chen Sibin has traveled all over the country, singing praises of the true, good, and beautiful in human life! And the calligraphy that has accompanied Chen Sibin throughout his life has also spread across the vast land of China! After retirement, he was sincerely invited by the EMBA Cloud Business School affiliated with Peking University Zongheng and the China Women's Innovation Academy to serve as a calligraphy consultant and chief cultural consultant.
On May 20, 2016, Chen Sibin was invited to the National Convention Center as a special guest to attend the "Tenth China MBA Leaders' Annual Conference". During the conference, the organizing unit auctioned Chen Sibin's calligraphy works, and all the proceeds were donated to the Tsinghua University Love Relief Foundation to help children from poor mountainous areas go to school, offering a warm love to the children in poor mountainous areas! Chen Sibin has been invited multiple times to participate in domestic and international calligraphy exhibitions and cultural exchanges, making due efforts to the development of traditional culture and the exchange between Eastern and Western cultures. In 2016, Chen Sibin was selected by units such as China Good Brand Network, CCTV Brand Program Group, Asia-Pacific Brand Network, and China Fengcai Personality Network as "Calligrapher with Influential Power of China's Artistic Brand". In 2016, the American Stamp Group printed Chen Sibin's calligraphy works on U.S. stamps for release. In 2017, China Post, China International Stamp Network, and the China Popular Culture Association printed Chen Sibin's calligraphy works into the "Welcome the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China" collection stamp album for public release. In 2017, the book "The Glorious China of the Belt and Road" published by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles included Chen Sibin's personal introduction and calligraphy works. In 2018, Chen Sibin was invited to be a lecturer on traditional culture at Chongqing Nankai Primary School and Chongqing Zhongshan Road Primary School. In June 2018, Chen Sibin was invited to join Yongwei. Shanghejun to illuminate the stars of love for autistic children in the Hall of Light, offering a warm love. In 2019, Chen Sibin was included in the "World Dictionary of Fine Artists" published by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. In 2019, Chen Sibin was compiled into the large documentary book "Chinese Art for 70 Years" published by China Culture Press. In 2019, the Art Development Center of the Ministry of Culture awarded Chen Sibin the honorary title of "Contemporary Famous Calligrapher of China".
