孙 Boxiang, born on October 4, 1934, in Wuqing County, Tianjin, was given the style name Zhenyu and is known as Master Shwei Zhai. He is currently a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a member of the Creation Evaluation Committee of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a professor at the Chinese Calligraphy Training College, a member of the Tianjin Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and vice chairman of the Tianjin Calligraphers Association. Sun Boxiang started learning calligraphy from a young age and has never stopped practicing. He once received guidance from Wang Xuezhou and Sun Qifeng. He values the study of stone inscriptions and is devoted to the northern school, covering the fields of official script, seal script, running script, and cursive script. His calligraphy works are strong and ancient, with a scattered form but a concentrated spirit, and an extraordinary quality. He is currently a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a member of the Creation Evaluation Committee of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a professor at the Chinese Calligraphy Training College, a member of the Tianjin Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and vice chairman of the Tianjin Calligraphers Association. He has published "Sun Boxiang's Calligraphy Collection" and others. He is currently a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association. He has studied under renowned masters such as Wang Xuezhou and Sun Qifeng. He has been deeply involved in calligraphy for more than sixty years, initially studying Tang dynasty regular script, later specializing in Northern Wei stone inscriptions.
