Liu Chunmei, pen name Yan Hong. Graduated from the Research Class of the Chinese Painting Department at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, specializing in Chinese ink painting techniques including meticulous figure and flower-bird painting, as well as freehand brushwork landscapes. Studied under renowned contemporary artists such as Huo Chunyang, He Jiaying, Jia Guangjian, Liu Wensheng, Chen Fuchun, Lü Yunsuo, Li Yongwen, and other esteemed mentors!
Her work "Expectation" was published in the 2007 issue of China书画 Newspaper and received an award; "Thoughts" was published in the book "Highland Sentiment" and won an award; "Sea of Emotion" was exhibited in the Western Landscapes Art Exhibition. Her works have received numerous awards at provincial, municipal, and district levels, been collected by leaders and successful individuals, and she has been honored with the title of "Best Outstanding Art Instructor" in Ordos City!
Currently serving as Director of the Ronghua Calligraphy and Painting Art Gallery at Shengzhou Rare Stones and Antiques City in Ordos City, and also a specially invited painter at the Hanmoqing Calligraphy and Painting Garden in Beijing!
Her compositions are exquisitely structured, full of dynamism, richly colored, elegant and captivating, pursuing perfection. Her works fully embody a spirit of self-reliance and demonstrate that women can rival men in artistic excellence.
