Personal Profile
Wang Fuen, female, pen name Shufang, was born in Tianjin Jinghai Xiaohed Village. She has loved reading and painting since childhood, and studied under the renowned writer Mr. Zhang Mengliang, the contemporary famous painter Xu Zhan, and Master Hou Yanhua. She graduated from China Distance Correspondence University. She furthered her studies at the Shandong Peony Painting Academy and the Xu Zhan Advanced Research Class for Chinese Flower-and-Bird Painting. She is currently a National First-Class Artist, a specially invited painter of the Shandong Provincial Academy of Painting, and a specially invited painter of the China Folk Artists Association for Traditional Painting and Calligraphy Art. She has been awarded the title of International Gold Medal Artist in the International Harmonious Painting Exhibition Competition, won the Gold Medal at the 9th National "Most Beautiful Sunset" Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition, and has also been honored with the title of Outstanding Talent in Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Art.
Current positions: Vice Chairman of the Tianjin Jinghai District Culture and Arts Association, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Jinghai Literature and Art, Executive Chief Editor of the Grand Canal Newspaper, Honorary Chairman of the Board of Directors of Changsha Moyuan Academy, and member of the Ink and Wash Painting Academy of the "Ink and Wash Danqing" Column Group, China Education Television.
