Yan Jianfeng, pen name Xiangyu, style names Kuxiang Zhai, Yifeng, Shanggu Caotang, male, Han ethnicity, born in 1972 in Qian County, Shaanxi Province. Graduated from the calligraphy junior college program at the China Calligraphy and Painting Correspondence University. Studied under Chen Tianmin, two-time recipient of the Orchid Pavilion Award. Currently a member of Shaanxi Provincial Calligraphers Association, standing director of Xianyang Youth Calligraphers Association, deputy director of training department at Kunlun Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and moderator of Shufa Tianxia Net.     Calligraphy Achievements: First Prize in the First "Liupin Hall" National Youth Calligraphy Competition; Outstanding Award (highest award) in the First Xianyang City Youth Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition; Second Prize in the "China Yangling Cup" Shaanxi Peasant Calligraphy Competition; Third Prize in the Second Shaanxi Provincial Community Cultural Festival; Excellent Award in the Jiucheng Palace National Calligraphy Competition; Excellent Award in the Shaanxi Provincial "Charity Cup" New Calligraphers and New Works Selection Competition; Fine Work Award in the Centenary of Chinese Cinema Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition; Invited exhibition in the Contemporary Calligraphy Masters' Thousand-Character Essay Exhibition; Exhibited in the Third Shaanxi Provincial Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition; Exhibited in the Calligraphy and Seal Carving Works Exhibition of the 11th China Arts Festival; Exhibited in the First Xi'an Stele Forest Award National Calligraphy Exhibition; Exhibited in the First All-Shaanxi Youth Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition; Exhibited in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th "Guanyin Mountain Cup" National Calligraphy Art Exhibitions; Exhibited in the First Shaanxi Provincial Calligraphy and Seal Carving Copying Exhibition.
