Wang Zhanchun
Wang Zanchun, master of PinYi Xuan, also known as Da Chun and Xi Liu Jushi, was born in 1970 in the ancient capital of Xianyang. He inherited family scholarly traditions from childhood and has devoted thirty years to practicing Northern Wei stele calligraphy. Deeply influenced by traditional Chinese literature and history, he excels in gold and stone carvings and figurative art, with particular mastery in bamboo and wooden slip script and cursive grass style. His compositions are spacious, elegant, and exquisite, endowed with innate genius and commanding momentum that flows like a rainbow, showcasing a distinct personal style. In 2016, he was selected by the National Talent Exchange Committee of the Ministry of Personnel for inclusion in the Chinese Talent Dictionary.
