Yu Shuting, calligrapher from Pingdu
Yu Shuting, born in 1933, is a native of Xinan Village, Mingcun Town, Pingdu City, Shandong Province. He graduated from Laoyang No. 5 Rapid Normal School in 1952. He is the director of the Pingdu City Museum and an associate researcher. He is a member of the China Calligraphers Association, vice chairman of the Qingdao Calligraphers Association, and chairman of the Pingdu City Calligraphers Association. He is also a specially appointed professor at the China Calligraphy Advanced Study School. He is a member of the Chinese Archaeological Society and the Chinese Society for Pre-Qin History. His calligraphy has been exhibited in national, provincial, and municipal exhibitions, published in publications such as "Calligraphy," and displayed in Japan. He has published "Collection of Yu Shuting's Calligraphy," and his works have been included in "Great Compendium of Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy Art," "Masterpieces of Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy Masters," "World Contemporary Calligraphers and Painters Collection," and others.
