Sun Tianwei

Sun Tianwei, styled Yishan, hao Dawei, also known as Geshanzi, originally from Zhaoyuan, Shandong Province, was born in Laizhou, Shandong Province in 1965. Deeply influenced by his family, he developed a love for calligraphy and painting from an early age. In 1983, he was admitted to Shandong Institute of Art & Design and became a direct disciple of Master Wu Yueshi at the China National Academy of Painting. His ink-wash flower-and-bird paintings have been frequently published in national professional journals such as "Art" and "Jiangsu Painting Journal."
