Later, he studied the styles of Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi, while also extensively practicing Yan Zhenqing’s “Yan Qinli Stele,” absorbing its spiritual essence. In running and cursive script, he studied the masters of the Song Dynasty and the great calligraphers such as Wang Duo, Yu Youren, Huaisu, and Zhang Xu, drawing widely from the finest traditions of renowned artists to establish his own creative philosophy.
