 Li Cheng'an, a first-class art teacher, was born in Shenyang in 1960. He is currently the Director of the Office of the Northeast Institute of Painting and Calligraphy at the Academy of Famous Artists' Painting and Calligraphy, and the Director of the Office of the Public Welfare Alliance of Painting and Calligraphy Artists.Li Cheng'an developed a deep love for painting and calligraphy during elementary school, and after entering the workforce, his passion for this art led him into the field of painting and calligraphy, where he previously served as Director of the Office of the Northeast Branch of the Chinese Leading Cadres Academy of Painting and Calligraphy.

In his early years, he studied feng shui fish painting under the guidance of military painter Master Chen Changyi and received the authentic transmission from him; his feng shui fish paintings are vividly lifelike and have been collected by individuals both domestically and internationally.
In recent years, he has received direct instruction from Mr. Niu Jiyeh, a direct disciple of Qi Baishi, and began studying Qi Baishi's shrimp. Through diligent study, his depiction of Qi Baishi's shrimp has now received praise and acclaim from successors of the Qi school; his shrimp paintings have entered both domestic and international markets and are widely collected.

In 2017, I won the Third Prize at the Liaoning Staff Painting and Photography Exhibition.
In 2018, I won the Excellent Award at the First National "Franca" Cup Four-Panel Painting and Calligraphy Competition.
