Painter Bao Shuqin, pen name Yiran, female, Mongolian, born in 1965, ancestral home Liaoning, currently residing in Inner Mongolia. She studied under Chinese painting instructor Gong Changyun and received careful guidance from artists Li Decai, Liu Haifeng, Cao Guibiao, and others. She is currently a member of the Inner Mongolia Association of Middle-aged and Elderly Painters and Calligraphers, a member of the Xing'an League Artists Association, a member of the Xing'an League Association of Middle-aged and Elderly Women Painters and Calligraphers, and Vice Chairman of the Keshiketengqi Artists Association. Specializing in freehand-style flower-and-bird painting, her Chinese paintings have been exhibited and awarded in exhibitions in Shanxi, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Heilongjiang, and within Xing'an League, and some works have been collected by international friends. In 2018, two of her works were included in the art collection "Women Painting the Splendor of the Era"; in 2019, ten of her works were included in "Twelve Outstanding Women Painters and Calligraphers of Xing'an," and one work was included in the art collection "My Motherland and I."
