Personal Profile

Xiong Dengzhi, male, Buyi ethnic group, born in December 1974, from Guizhou's Xingren. He has loved calligraphy since childhood and received years of guidance from the renowned calligrapher Mr. Liu Huipu. His works have won multiple awards, including the Third Prize in the National First "Agricultural Bountiful Cup" Competition and the Excellence Award in the "Washing Brush Spring" Cup to Welcome the Return of Hong Kong. He is currently the Director of the Organization and Liaison Department of the Painting and Calligraphy Special Committee of the Guizhou Economic and Cultural Promotion Association, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Zhang Daqian Dafeng Hall Guizhou Artists Association, and Vice Chairman of the Uda District Calligraphy Association in Guiyang.
