Tang Enyun, originally named Tang Shuyun, male, born on April 14, 1982, in Baiyun District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. Currently a member of the Ink and Wash Painting Academy of the "Ink and Wash Danqing" Column Group, China Education Television; member of the China Couplets Society; academician of the China National Art People's Painting and Calligraphy Academy; specially appointed artist of the Sydney China Painting and Calligraphy Academy, Australia; invited artist of the Han Tian Art Network in Los Angeles, USA; member of the New Artistic Community Painting and Calligraphy Committee of the China Painting and Calligraphers Association; council member of the Second Council of the Calligraphy and Painting Art Professional Committee of the China National Architecture Research Society; council member of the Hongru Painting and Calligraphy Academy in Qufu, Shandong; member of the People's Artistic Family; signed painting and calligraphy artist of Beijing Moyuan Painting and Calligraphy Mall; signed painting and calligraphy artist of Beijing Zangyi Network.
Since childhood, I have loved painting and developed an ingrained passion for traditional Chinese painting. I have diligently practiced and remained persistent. I have never had a master or formally studied under any painting instructor, nor do I hold any official titles. I have never attended an art school or enrolled in any correspondence art college. To improve my painting skills, I carried sketchbooks to places filled with flowers, grass, and birds to practice plein-air painting. Wherever I went, whatever I saw, I drew it out with seriousness and dedication.
For a long time, I have devoted myself to studying and learning freehand brushwork flower-and-bird painting, especially excelling in depictions of fish, shrimp, mynah birds, eagles, peacocks, lotus flowers, peonies, and wisteria. Due to my humble upbringing, I grew up in an extremely difficult family environment. To make a living, I have worked as a water delivery worker, coal delivery worker, miner, and coal digger—almost every kind of hard and dirty job imaginable. Yet I am a person who never gives up, firmly believing that through relentless effort and perseverance, I will one day become a professional artist achieving artistic success.
My current works exhibit a fresh, natural, and elegant style, characterized by tranquility, harmony, and profound symbolism.
Awards and Achievements：
On July 20, 2019, my painting work "Spring" was sold for EUR 14,605 at the Spring 2019 Large-Scale Auction hosted by Sino-Europe International Auction Co., Ltd., in the Painting and Calligraphy Special Session.
On December 29, 2019, my painting work "Spring Glow" was auctioned for RMB 147,200 at the "Hanmo Zhonghua Spring Festival Auction" hosted by Beijing Huizhen International Auction Co., Ltd.
On December 20, 2019, my work "Autumn Chorus" was sold for GBP 20,700 at the Global Art Autumn精品 Auction held by Global Art Auction Company in London, UK.
In May 2019, at 2:00 PM New York time (2:00 AM Beijing time on May 26), Tang Enyun's painting works were displayed on the Nasdaq large-screen LED display for a one-week exhibition.
During the Lantern Festival in January 2019, Tang Enyun's ink paintings were broadcast on four large screens at the Qufu High-Speed Railway Station in Jining, Shandong Province, including the entrance, exit, and two locations in the parking plaza, continuously displayed for one month until the Lantern Festival.
