 Zhou Anqi, a Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage inheritor of traditional calligraphy and painting, Executive Dean of the Ink and Wash Danqing Academy under CETV China Education Television, Member of the Chinese Poetry Society, Featured Artist in the Art Talent Database of the Ministry of Culture of China, National First-Class Artist, and Doctoral Supervisor at Oxford College of Art, UK! Originally from Meitan, Zunyi, Guizhou Province, he is a direct descendant of the Zhou Dynasty's King Wu. His sixth-generation ancestor passed the imperial examination as a Jinshi during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty. Inheriting his family’s scholarly tradition, Zhou Anqi developed a passion for calligraphy and painting from an early age. During his youth, he traveled extensively across China’s famous mountains and rivers, sketching and creating art en route. He endured hardships and trials beyond ordinary imagination. After years of travel, he visited countless folk calligraphers and painters nationwide, respectfully seeking mentors and diligently studying without ceasing, gradually perfecting his artistic skills. Through decades of relentless practice and refinement, he forged his own distinctive style in calligraphy and painting, ultimately becoming a master of the arts.
