Ma Xingfu, a member of the Communist Youth League, male, Hui ethnic group, was born in 1998 in Xinmin Town, Panzhou City, Guizhou Province—a hometown renowned for its vast terraced fields and ancient fossilized dragon fish. He graduated from Shaanxi International University of Commerce and Technology. Influenced by his family, he has loved calligraphy since childhood and studied under teachers Jiang Shihong and Zhang Sen. He began by copying classic works such as the Jiucheng Palace, Preface to the Sacred Teaching, Cold Food Scroll, and the Tiao Stream Poem Scroll, later转向 Wei-Jin period small regular script. His works have won awards and certificates in numerous calligraphy competitions. Holding deep reverence for the art of calligraphy, he practices and studies with even greater diligence. During university, he worked part-time as a calligraphy instructor for two years. After graduation, he has been engaged in the field of calligraphy education.
