Personal Profile

Hu Jinbo, master of Xinyi Pavilion, born in 1986, from Guizhou, graduated from Beijing University of Chemical Technology, has been passionate about calligraphy since childhood, with experience in regular, cursive, seal, and clerical scripts, specializing in Ouyang Kai and the style of the Two Wangs, and studying under contemporary Ouyang Kai master Tian Yuzhang. Award achievements: Selected in the 2nd "Hao Yang Cup" National Calligraphy and Painting Competition; Awarded in the 5th "Zhonghua Cup" National Calligraphy and Painting Competition held in Shanghai; Awarded in the 2nd "Yanyuan Cup" National Youth Calligraphy and Painting Competition hosted by Peking University; Awarded in the 1st "Chang'e Cup" National Calligraphy and Painting Competition; Selected in the "Art is Right Around You" exhibition hosted by the Beijing Xicheng District Artists Association.
