Chen Bo, male, born in the 1990s, is from Zhenfeng County, Guizhou Province. He majored in Calligraphy at Guizhou Minzu University and is a member of the Guizhou Calligraphers Association. "His works have been featured in events such as the 'First China Calligraphy Tower Cup.' Since childhood, he has been passionate about calligraphy, often using a broom dipped in water to write on the ground. In high school, he began studying calligraphy under teachers Lu Zhangfei and Liu Yukun. He recalls frequently practicing through the night; whenever he produced one or two satisfactory copies, he would feel deeply delighted. Under the guidance of excellent teachers, his calligraphic skills gradually improved. He initially studied Yan Zhenqing, learning his balanced and vigorous brushwork and upright, square yet rounded structure as his foundation. Over time, he progressed to studying Wei-style regular script, then transitioned to seal and clerical scripts. Later, he took Han clerical script as his primary focus, beginning with the Zhang Qian Stele, while also studying other steles such as the Hao Da Wang and Xian Yu Huang. He has persistently practiced the Hao Da Wang Stele, finding it endlessly captivating. After prolonged study, he has come to appreciate the lofty classical elegance of Qin clerical script, emulating it wholeheartedly with daily practice, leading to continuous progress. Whenever he gains new insights, he becomes so absorbed that he forgets to eat.
