  Yang Xuewen, styled Wenbishanren, male, born in 1964, native of Jianchuan County, Yunnan Province, is a state civil servant, member of the Yunnan Writers Association, member of Dali Prefecture Bai Ethnic Studies Association and Nanzhao History Society, and chief editor of "Dali Rural Economy." He has published over 1.7 million characters of literary works such as "From Morning to Night" and "The Elegant Sanxian" in publications including "People's Literature," and has authored or co-authored more than 800,000 characters of academic papers and research projects such as "Dali's Resistance War Culture" and "Research on Strategies for Building Cultural Dali." His published monographs include the cultural essay collection "The Forgotten Paradise," the novel "Chronicles of Huacheng," and the short and medium-length fiction collection "Sanxian." He has won multiple provincial and prefectural awards for outstanding achievements in social sciences and outstanding publications. Passionate about calligraphy, his works have won the second prize in the 2014 Dali Prefecture Party Foundation Day Calligraphy Competition, and have been included in collections such as "Golden Autumn Ode: Collection of Paintings and Calligraphy Exhibitions" commemorating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Jiusan Society and the victory of the Anti-Japanese War and World Anti-Fascist War.
