Cai Quanbing, born in 1989, uses the pen name Bifeng and is known as the Ink Man of the Western Regions. Since childhood, he has been deeply passionate about calligraphy and painting, influenced and inspired by his family, diligently practicing ancient masterpieces and renowned artists' collections, dedicating himself to the study of calligraphy and painting with notable achievements. His motto is: "Diligent study and deep thinking, drawing widely from diverse strengths, with rigorous practice as the foundation"; he regards ink and brush as a refined means of cultivating one’s character, and views reading, writing characters, and learning painting as noble personal pleasures. In August 2017, he joined the Xinjiang Tuokexun County Calligraphy Association. In 2008, his work was awarded the Gold Prize at the "City of Love" Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Masters Nanjing Invitational Exhibition and was included in the anthology "Works of the 'City of Love' Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Masters Nanjing Invitational Exhibition," and he was honored by the organizing committee with the title "Love Calligrapher and Painter." In 2012, at the National Calligraphy and Painting Joint Exhibition commemorating the 70th anniversary of Chairman Mao's Speech at the Yan'an Forum on Literature and Art, his work was awarded the Silver Prize and he was granted the title "China Classic Red Artist." In 2015, his work won the Third Prize at the Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition. In April 2017, he won an award in the China Good Brand Influence Art Calligraphy and Painting Competition and was conferred the title "Joint Promotion Public Welfare Image Ambassador for China Brand Day." In September 2017, he received an Outstanding Award at the "Speak with Works" Ju City—Melbourne Dual-City Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition. In November 2017, he received an Outstanding Award at the "Zhang Zeduan" Cup Online Calligraphy and Painting Competition. In November 2017, he was invited as an artist by the Sydney Chinese Academy of Calligraphy and Painting. In December 2017, he joined the China Calligraphers and Painters Association. In 2017, he joined the China Calligraphy and Painting Education Society. In November 2017, he obtained the初级研究员 (Junior Research Fellow) title from the China Calligraphy and Painting Education Society. In November 2017, he obtained the Advanced Registered Teacher Qualification Certificate from the National Youth Calligraphy and Painting Rating Examination. In 2017, he participated in compiling the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" textbook "Introduction to Running Script for Middle School Students."
