Yan Fucai
Yan Fucai, born on February 13, 1960, in Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, is a renowned Chinese ink painter of Shanxi Province. He specializes in landscape, realistic, and freehand brushwork painting. He is a professional artist and serves as a master at the Xinzhou Branch of the International Cultural Exchange Center of Shanxi Academy of Painting. He is also a member of the Shanxi Artists Association and the Vice President of the Shanxi Yamen Calligraphy and Painting Culture Research Association. Additionally, he is an academician and honorary chief editor of the Beijing Jiuzhou Fenglin International Academy of Calligraphy and Art, and has received awards.
Award Experiences:
In 2008, his ink painting "Huangshan Coolness" was selected for the first "Double Ninth Festival Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition" hosted by the China Senior Artists Association and was collected and included in the anthology "Selected Works of the First China Double Ninth Festival Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition."
In 2010, his work "Autumn Colors of Mount Tai" won the Gold Medal at the International Exchange Exhibition during the Shanghai World Expo and was awarded the title "Chinese Master of Calligraphy and Painting"; the work was collected by collectors.
In 2011, his work "Taihang Mountains Four-Panel Screen" won the Gold Medal at the Exhibition of Paintings Commemorating the 90th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China, was included in "Selected Works of Chinese Masters of Calligraphy and Painting," and was awarded the title "Artist."
In 2018, his work "Huangshan Welcoming Pine" was exhibited at the China Calligraphy and Painting World Expo held in Milan, Italy.
