Song Ming, male, Manchu, 53 years old, associate degree, Chairman of the Ningxia Artists Association, National First-Class Artist. Song Ming has actively organized more than ten influential foreign art exchange activities, continuously conducting multiple academic exchange events in various painting genres with the Shanghai Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Shanghai Artists Association, greatly promoting young and middle-aged artists from Ningxia and earning high praise from the China Artists Association, which hailed him as "a model of artistic exchange between a remote western province and an eastern cultural frontier city." In 2008, Song Ming led the Ningxia Artists Association in designing the pattern and bas-reliefs for the National Unity Tripod, a gift from the central government to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Ningxia’s establishment; these exquisite bas-relief works reflecting Ningxia’s construction achievements are permanently displayed before the public. While conscientiously fulfilling tasks assigned by higher authorities, Song Ming utilized his professional expertise in fine arts to donate nearly one hundred ink paintings in support of earthquake relief, assistance for persons with disabilities, and donations to Hope Primary Schools. He has received honors and commendations from the China National Academy of Painting, the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the China Artists Association, and the Ningxia Party Committee and Government. He actively creates and enthusiastically participates in various thematic national art exhibitions hosted by the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the China Artists Association, and other state ministries; some of his works have been collected by art institutions such as galleries and museums. Numerous works have been published in important national art journals. He has been awarded the title of "Morally and Artistically Exemplary" artist (3rd session) by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, recognized as an Advanced Individual in National Unity throughout the region, repeatedly honored as an Outstanding Worker of the Federation of Literary and Art Circles and a Model of Professional Dedication and Moral Integrity across the region. He served as a Council Member of the 6th and 7th terms of the China Artists Association, a member of the China Calligraphers Association, a committee member of the regional Federation of Literary and Art Circles, a recipient of special government allowances from the regional government, and a selected candidate of the New Century 313 Talent Project.
