Personal Profile

Wang Yuanxiao, born in 1971, styled as "Bodhi Ink Person," originally from Yangming Village, Yangming Township, Haiyuan County, Ningxia; member of the China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association; council member of the Ningxia Couplets Association; vice president of the Ningxia Couplet Painting and Calligraphy Institute; vice president of the Yinchuan Couplet Association; academician of Renhe Calligraphy and Painting Academy in Beijing. Under the continuous guidance and influence of his mentor Lu Tong, he has devoted himself to studying Ouyang Xun's regular script with great success. Occasionally, he writes Western Xia characters in the style of Ouyang’s script, which turns out quite elegant. He received instruction from Master Tian Yingzhang during the Fifth Advanced Calligraphy Research Class of Tian Yingzhang and obtained a certificate of completion.
