Wang Qingxia, also known as Yu Si Mudan and the Peony Fairy, Han Chinese, member of the China Democratic League, graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Department of Chinese Language at Ningxia University, and later studied at the School of Traditional Chinese Painting at the China Calligraphy and Painting Correspondence University. She is a member of the China Women Painters Association, Ningxia Artists Association, Standing Committee Member of the Ningxia Employees Artists Association, member of the Yinchuan Artists Association, Deputy Secretary-General of the Xingqing District Artists Association, and Director of the Ningxia Ziyun Women's Calligraphy and Painting Academy. Her artworks "Chrysanthemums Undulating," "Departing Early from Baidi City," "Ten Thousand Purples and Reds," "Qinyuanchun · Snow," and "Autumn Chrysanthemum" have been exhibited and awarded in both regional and national exhibitions. More than twenty of her works have been collected by art museums, calligraphy and painting academies, and the Ningxia Committee of the China Democratic League, and several pieces have been presented by the Ningxia Committee of the China Democratic League as gifts to distinguished guests and friends.
