        Na Qingjiang, pen name Shimo, was born on February 8, 1957, in Kezuozhong Banner, Inner Mongolia, and has loved drawing since childhood. He graduated from the China Calligraphy and Painting Correspondence University in 1986 and has been engaged in middle school art education for ten years. He is currently a member of the China Calligraphy and Art Association, a member of the Painting Committee of the China Calligraphy and Art Research Institute, a member of the Inner Mongolia Artists Association, and a member of the Yakeshi City Artists Association. His work "Rui Xue Guang Fengnian" won the second prize in the "Tokyo Dreams" International Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition and was exhibited in the United States. His work "Joy" won a bronze award in the exhibition hosted by the Chinese Family Planning Association. He initially studied under the renowned oil painter Ye Lifu in sketching and watercolor, and now studies under the renowned Chinese ink painter Niu Zhengguo in ice painting. He has created numerous snowscape paintings inspired by the Daxing'anling forest region, which are very popular among the public.
