Introduction:
Wu Dianjie, born in April 1949 in Changchun, Jilin Province, is a member of the Communist Party of China. He has loved art and painting since childhood. He has participated multiple times in exhibitions organized by FAW Group and industry-wide art shows. He graduated from Huazhong Institute of Technology. Prior to retirement, he served as Chief Engineer and Director of the Master Studio at the Ninth Design and Research Institute of the Machinery Industry, holding the title of Professor-level Senior Engineer. Currently, he is a council member of the Jilin Provincial Chinese Painting Society and a National First-Class Artist. He studied under Yi Hongbin, President of the Chinese Painting Horse Association, specializing in large freehand ink horses.
Life Experience:
Since childhood, he has been passionate about calligraphy and painting, engaging in bulletin board publicity work from elementary school through university and into his professional career, with his works frequently exhibited in art shows. After graduating from university, he worked in automobile engineering design and participated in multiple overseas research trips and academic exchanges on automotive engineering. After retirement, he became a member of the Jilin Provincial Chinese Painting Society. He has repeatedly participated in art exhibitions and won awards. He studied under Yi Hongbin, President of the Chinese Painting Horse Association, specializing in horse paintings.

In 2019, "Horse Achieves Success" was exhibited at the exhibition "Staying True to Our Original Aspirations and Creating New Glories" commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the PRC, hosted by the Jilin Provincial Chinese Painting Society and Northeast Asia Longxiang Academy of Calligraphy and Painting.
In September 2021, "Purple Qi Comes from the East" was exhibited at the exhibition "Remembering Our Original Aspirations, Singing Praises to a Glorious Century," hosted by the Jilin Provincial Chinese Painting Society.
In October 2021, at the "New Journey, New Mission: China's Most Influential Chinese Painters Selection" event hosted by the Zhenji Culture Research Institute and Guangzhou Zhenji Culture Co., Ltd., he won the Gold Award and received the title "Most Influential Chinese Painter." In January 2022, his work "Six Horses Achieving Success" was selected in the "Outstanding Artworks Selection" activity organized by the Spring Festival and Two Sessions Organizing Committee and awarded the "Most Collectible Value Award." In March 2022, during the National People's Congress and Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference sessions, his work was selected for the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's event "Great Nation Style, Backbone of the Nation" as a tribute to the Two Sessions. He was nominated as a "Model of Contemporary Art" and honored with certificates, trophies, and medals by five major national media outlets including CCTV, Jinri Toutiao, and Baidu.
