Takeuchi Masaru

     Wu Jiazeng, male, former name Wu Hao, pen name Zhenrong, was born in March 1974 in Suining County, Jiangsu Province. He is currently the Deputy Director of the Chinese Academy of Calligraphy Arts, Director of the Jiangsu Branch, a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, and an outstanding news worker in our country.
  In order to improve his calligraphy skills, he has been practicing diligently for many years, copying the font of calligraphy masters from ancient and modern times at home and abroad, such as Wang Xizhi, Yan Zhenqing, Liu Gongquan, Lu Jianzhi, Ouyang Zhongshi, Qi Gong, Shu Tong, Shen Peng, Zhang Hai, Wu Zhongqi, etc. He especially excels in running script and cursive script. After constant research and exploration, he finally learned the secrets of writing Chinese calligraphy. Under the guidance of Ma Yong'an, the chairman of the China Calligraphers Artists Association, his calligraphy skills have greatly improved, and he has become famous overnight.  
           Since 2010, he has organized and planned more than 80 large-scale public welfare activities for artists. For example: held three exhibitions of paintings and calligraphy in the Huaihai Economic Zone at the Xuzhou Library in Jiangsu Province; "The Eastern Red Cup - Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition to Celebrate the 124th Anniversary of Comrade Mao Zedong's Birth"; "Celebration of the 97th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China and the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of the Huaihai Campaign Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition"; "Celebration of the 69th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China and the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition"; held the "World Calligraphy and Painting Tour in Zhenjiang" at the Zhenjiang Art Museum in Jiangsu Province. At the same time, he also organized artists to go deep into the Jiangsu Bafang Steel Structure Co., Ltd., Kunshan Hongsheng Culture Company, Xuzhou City Public Security Bureau New District Branch, Xuzhou Pan Tang Office, Tongshan District Hanwang Middle School, Xuzhou Damao Middle School, Xuzhou Quanshan District Pipeline Community, Feng County Liangzhai Town Government, Tongshan District Huangji Town Government, Xuzhou Fire Brigade Guchou Detachment, etc., to carry out 13 large-scale public welfare activities. He gave more than 5,000 pieces of calligraphy and painting to the masses, workers, police officers, and students (including more than 500 pieces donated by himself), making great contributions to the development of China's calligraphy and painting cause.
           In addition, President Wu Jiazeng also led artists to enter the military camps to carry out support-the-army activities for 10 times. Since 2010, every August 1st, he personally planned and organized artists to enter the military camps to carry out the "Strong Army Dream, My Dream - Visit to the Troops Activities". He has continuously visited units such as the original Xuzhou Engineering Corps Command College, the Yundong Detachment of the Xuzhou Fire Brigade, the Pizhou Fire Brigade, the 73087 Unit of the People's Liberation Army, the Xiangtan Military District of Hunan Province, the Zaozhuang Detachment of the Shandong Armed Police Force, the Xin Cheng Fire Brigade of Xuzhou, and the Xuzhou Detachment of the Armed Police Force, carrying out support-the-army activities, which have been highly praised by local government leaders and soldiers.
           In July and November 2018, he successfully planned and organized two Hong Kong Cultural Tourism Festivals. In May 2019, he also planned and organized the "First Taiwan Cultural Tourism Festival across the Taiwan Strait", and in early August of the same year, he successfully held the "Third China Hong Kong-Macao-Guangdong Cultural Tourism Festival and Ma Yong'an Yan Calligraphy Exhibition", making great contributions to promoting cultural exchanges and tourism development between Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. Due to the success of the activities and the strong response, more than 500 media websites across the country reported on the grandeur of the activities and his achievements.
             In addition, he is also an outstanding news worker. For over 20 years, he has published more than 10,000 news articles in newspapers and websites at all levels across the country, among which more than 5,000 are in newspapers. He was selected as one of the top 10 famous people in China. The 10 selected famous people are: Lao She, Mao Dun, Hu Yu, Wang Yunwu, Feng Xuefeng, Ye Zhishan, Zhou Zhenpu, Zhao Jiaxi, Shen Changwen, and Wu Jiazeng.  
         Wu Jiazeng often says, "Promoting the main melody and spreading positive energy are the responsibility and obligation of each artist. I will actively participate in various public welfare cultural activities and make more contributions to the prosperity of the cultural cause." He not only speaks but also acts accordingly.
In addition to strictly requiring himself, Wu Jiazeng also actively guides and educates members of the association to maintain a proper attitude, work hard, master the basics, and serve society. Under his influence and guidance, the number of calligraphers and painters in the association has increased, and the technical level of many calligraphers and painters has significantly improved. The number of people participating in public welfare and charity activities has also increased.
